LibraryThing
This is a wonderful tool to have. Library thing can be used to do research and it can be used for personal reading as well. The biggest thing that I like about LibraryThing is that you have access to your favorite books anywhere there is a computer with Internet. Fun project I will defiantly be using this in the future.

Pro's & Cons of digital portfolios
Pro's
The biggest pro to using any of these tools to produce a professional portfolio is that it makes it easy for employers to get your information and professional work history without you having to mail, email and/or fax a resume.
Another pro to using any of the three websites is employers can get a feel about what type of person you are based on personal information submitted during the registration process for these sites.
by using these professional profile networking websites is you are exposed to the world meaning greater possibilities in the job market
Con's
My Biggest concern with using these websites is the exposure of ones personal information
Another con is there is a possibility that your information might not get seen by potential employers.
There are too many of these kind of tools on the internet. This can be very confusing to keep track of.

Podcast Search Engines
I really did not find this assignment as interesting as the other assignments. Im not even sure if I put my podcast on google reader the right way. I think it is really easy to find podcast related to what ever subject you are looking for the only down side is validity of information.

YouTube Experience
I enjoy watching videos in youtube. The main reason that I look at the website is because you can always find a good laugh on youtube. The reason I chose the Bill Cosby video is because I feel that everything he said was real and I could relate to what he was saying. Using youtoube to teach classes is a wonderful idea because for one they are always fun and they are easy to find. I think one of the best components of youtube is the ability to share videos with who you want. Having the ability to share the videos ensures that students/peers get the right video, just like how we do for class.

Technorati is a great tool for searching the web for whatever you want to look for and more. It was a great experience because it is very easy to use and it taught me that I can find any information I want by using one website. This tool also gives you information about things that are associated with your key search word. I would defiantly recommend this tool to anybody.
